Cheeseburger pie

  • 8oz of cheddar cheese shredded 
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 lb. ground meat
  • onion
  • green pepper
  • basil or oregano
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1 double pie crust

 Heat oven to 375.  Roll out pie dough and put bottom into pie plate…bake for ~10 minutes.   Brown meat and drain. Saute onions and peppers – add meat in.  Mix/whisk eggs with tomato soup and basil/salt/pepper etc.  Layer bottom of pie crust with 1/2 of cheese, add meat mixture on top then pour in egg and soup mixture.  Combine remaining cheese with second crust – crumble up for topping and put on pie

 Cook @ 30 -40 minutes until firm.
